Marriage on a Mission

I (Penny) recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by author and ministry partner, Linda Rooks of Broken Heart on Hold. Linda and I discussed our new book, Marriage on the Mend, and much more. You can read the interview here.

Everyone knows of a marriage in crisis. But, do you know how to effectively pray for the reconciliation of that relationship? Our latest article entitled, It’s a Matter of Prayer, gives a tangible prayer strategy for reconciliation and restoration.

Last week we had the privilege of being interviewed by our ministry partner, Dr. Harold Arnold.  During the interview, we discussed various topics such as: Why prayer is central to marital growth, why it is never too late to recover the best for your marriage, and how we encourage couples to engage in courageous conversations. We also shared bits and pieces of our marriage testimony and talked about our new book, Marriage on the Mend–Healing Your Relationship After Crisis, Separation, or Divorce.

Yesterday we celebrated the Open House of our new Ministry Center in Ormond Beach, FL. What a day! More pictures are on our photo gallery page.

We thank God for every person who came and for all the people across the nation who helped fund the renovation of this space and prayed us through the process all along the way.

While we will continue to serve marriages on the mission field, this gives us a place to minister when we are off the road. May people encounter the love and healing of God here!

After seven years of prayer and waiting, we finally took up residence at 100 E. Granada Blvd. Suite 215, in Ormond Beach, FL. It’s been about two months of hard labor, but the ministry center is ready to open. Take a look at the progress photos posted here.

We are so grateful for all the donations that were poured into this place! Here we will hold classes, retreats, workshops, meetings, and other special events when we are off the road. The main event room doubles as a full-blown green screen video studio. In addition there is an office and a smaller classroom. The ministry center will be a place where God intersects our passion for marriage reconciliation and media ministry into one place. We can’t wait to see what He will do in the coming year. And yes, we will still be on the road in 2015. May lives be changed for His glory!
