After years of prayer, God has provided us with a building space to use when we are off the road. Located in Ormond Beach, FL, this space will allow us to teach workshops, host retreats, lead ongoing classes, and film projects for other ministries in need.

We are excited about the many ways in which God will use this space once we are up and running. Right now, we’re in need of volunteers who can help us with painting and cleaning. Today we had the privilege of sharing our testimony at the Berlin International Community Church. May the Holy Spirit’s ministry of reconciliation linger long after we have departed!

We are in Berlin, Germany with an awesome team of people from our local community. Today we will meet with the pastor of the Berlin International Community Church, as well as others from the church. May God be honored in all things during this mission.

Do you feel it? That weight that is pressing down upon you? That load that is far too much to bear? I do. Or, I should say, I did. I had to let it go this morning. It was far too much for me. Some of it was worry over things I cannot control. Some of it was pressure over how ill-equipped I feel for the tasks at hand. But, some of it was also my sin. My unconfessed sin of frustration, anger, and ceaseless striving.

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.” Psalm 32:1-2

What are we to do when the load is too deep and too wide? Dump it. Not just anywhere…but dump it at the ONLY place that can cover all that weight and sorrow and sin. Lay it all down right there at the Cross of Christ. Why wait?

For over a decade we’ve tried to find a publisher for our marriage resources. Ten years of praying, writing, dreaming, and revising. In God’s own time, He has responded to our prayers. Marriage on the Mend–Healing Your Relationship After Crisis, Separation, or Divorce, will be released by Kregel Publications in the spring of 2015. We are thrilled!

Before leaving Grand Rapids, MI last week, we had the opportunity to meet the staff at Kregel and learn more about the process we’re engaged in with them. They were gracious to us in every way. We still have months of work ahead but together with the Kregel team, we look forward to getting Marriage on the Mend into the hands of those in need around the world.
