Carrying Hurting Marriages to the Wailing Wall

We believe in the power of prayer to heal hurting marriages. More than anything we can do for those in need, prayer must remain our priority. As a reminder of that truth, several years ago, my mom designed a beautiful Wailing Wall Quilt for Marriages that we have carried all over the United States. The pockets of the quilt are filled with the names of hundreds and hundreds of hurting couples. Today, we took a photograph of that symbol and tucked it, along with our prayers for these couples, into the real Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

AMAZING! I was touched to the point of tears by today’s blog, as I have been throughout your journey. Thank you for your labor in the field of marriage and in the Holy Land. May our God richly bless and enrich your marriage and those hurting marriages that are “tucked in” to the wailing wall quilt. I LOVE reading your mission blog! Thank you! Love you my friends!

I had chills when I saw the pictures of today’s blog. I have friends’ names in there – one of whom I will be going to a counseling session with today as she and her husband are starting a theraputic separation this week. As you said – hundreds and hundreds of hurting couples which translates into untold numbers of hurting kids…it’s staggering. Thank you for being on the front lines of the battle! We will be joining you in the front lines as God clears our path. In the meantime, our prayers are with you!
