Day 10 – So Divine

There are things that happen on these missions that are extraordinarily divine. This is just one of several that must be shared, in brief.

journalOn the way through Chattanooga a dear friend wanted to get a copy of one of the journals that we’ve made and carry with us on the road. She said she had someone special to give it to. Fast forward to our time teaching at a retreat in Jugville, MI last weekend. A pastor and his wife who were attending the retreat sat down next to us one night and we started talking. They mentioned having a daughter in Chattanooga, so we asked if she might know our friends at the Chattanooga House of Prayer. Immediately, the wife blurted out our friend’s name! Long story short, imagine the SHOCK and AWE on all our faces when we discovered that not only did our friend and their daughter know each other, but the journal we’d left behind in Chattanooga was to be given to their daughter by our friend. The shock reverberated all the way from Chattanooga to Michigan and back again.

“Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.” Psalm 105:1
